Kennesaw State launches new tool to celebrate student success_Kennesaw State University[케네소주립대,미국유학설명회]
Kennesaw State University has a new tool to celebrate student accomplishments and turn those achievements into an online profile for every one of our students.
These online profiles, or Merit pages, are automatically updated by Kennesaw State when students make the dean’s list, study abroad, earn academic awards and more. Hundreds of colleges in the U.S. use Merit to recognize and promote success via personalized Merit pages for their students. Updates to Merit pages are also shared with a network of stakeholders who care about each student’s success: their high schools, their hometown media outlets, their parents and friends via social networks.
What’s in it for students?
Merit pages are created and updated automatically. The university maintains the pages. Other organizations in the Merit network, such as national honor societies, Greek organizations and service groups, can also add achievements to Merit pages. They can, however, make additions if students desire. Merit allows each student to customize a Merit page URL, add a profile photo, bio, and other activities and work experience. Students can even include photos and videos to further demonstrate involvement. When Merit pages are connected to a student’s social networks such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn, they will ensure that friends and family can also see and learn about the great opportunities they’re taking advantage of and being recognized for at Kennesaw State. It’s an important way for students to be a part of our story and help us tell it.
